I'll tell you, I am having a hard time updating this journal and the sad part is that I'm not busy at all, for the most part. Well it's been almost a week since the concert and I had a great time. Goatwhore was a no-show and I wasn't disappointed since I don't really like them but I saw Kataklysm, Macabre and Napalm Death. I didn't stay for Cannibal Corpse because standing was unbearable due to foot and back pain and there was no place to sit down, all the chairs were in the over 21 section. On the train home I came to the conclusion that I should've went to the bathroom and just sat on the toilet for 20 minutes or so. (Napalm Death ended early so there was 30 minutes until the Cannibal Corpse set) Looking back I wish I stayed but oh well I'll probably be seeing them again.
School is winding down and that means projects, papers and tests. I have a Poly Sci paper due Monday along with a Biology presentation to give. That is gonna suck but I'll deal with it. I turned in my essay test for Philosophy class and I did it early (on Thursday) so I didn't have to go to class on Friday. Friday I just slept in until noon, it was great. Then I went for a drive for an hour or so and then came home to watch TV and play the bass.
My job interest has moved back to psychology and that is a good thing considering it pays well and I eventually want to open my own recording studio or record label. (or both)
I'm getting into Ásatru as a religion. I find it very interesting. In case you don't know what Ásatru is, it is the religion pre-Christianity of Norway. It is a polytheistic religion and the major gods are Odin, Thorr, Freya, Frigg, Freyj.

| It's been awhile |

Well it has been a couple weeks since I last updated and here's what's new.
-> The Midterm in Poly Sci class: I got an "A"
-> Job: I got a job at Seven Bridges Movie Theater. I have to fill out forms on Wednesday and then I'm official. I get $6.00 an hour and free movies for me and my family. I also get free unlimited popcorn and soda on my break.
-> Concert: In 1 week. I can't wait
-> Name: I'm thinking of using an alias for my daily life and the name I picked is Samael (pronounced "Sam" "A" "L"). Tell me what you think about it. |

Well I got my Biology test back the other day and it turns out I got a 79% on it. That's not bad, but it isn't as good as I thought I would get. I thought I was going to get an "A". I got another "C" on my Political Science test, which sucks. I think I'm going to end up with a "C" in that class. We have our Mid-Quarter exam on Wednesday. It isn't like the quizes because it is an essay test instead of multiple choice. I have a bad feeling about it so I'm going to have to buckle down tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday to get myself ready for the test.
I bought tickets to the Cannibal Corpse (and Napalm Death, Kataklysm, Goatwhore and Macabre) show. The total ended up being like $35 so my bank account is drained. I had to sell some CD's in order to see a movie with Charlie. I sold 5 CDs and made $10. I'm planning on selling my roller blades and some of my baseball bats to make some more money.
I'm planning on trying to get a job at Seven Bridges Movie Theater. Not only would I get free movie enterance but supposedly I could get Charlie some free movies if he goes with me (and that's like every weekend, so that would save us both a ton of money). Considering the only thing I really spend money on consistently is movies so that would be awesome to get that job. I really hope I get it.
Well now I'm tired and I'm going to bed. I'll talk to you all tomorrow (or whenever). |

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to see Cannibal Corpse (with Napalm Death, Macabre, Goatwhore and Kataklysm) on November 13th. The show is only $20 so it isn't too bad. I am probably going to take the train and then depending on the bus schedule I'll either take the bus or a taxi to the show. And a taxi or bus back to the train station and I can just walk home from the local train station. I'm really excited, because this will be my first "real" concert that I'm going to. Yippee. |

So it's been a couple days since I last updated and here is what's going on:
- I got my second paycheck from work and I talked to my boss about the first one that didn't clear and she said there was no reason for it to not clear so she printed me out another check. I took that check and my current paycheck to the bank and cashed them instead of depositing them. I cashed them because now my money is safe, they can't take it back so if there is something wrong she gets to deal with the problem while I'm here with my money.
- I have decided to change my major from Industrial/Organizational Psychology to Athletic Training. I looked up the pay scales and the pay for an athletic trainer can be more than half what an I/O Psychologist would make. Oh well, I just need enough to get food, a place to stay and the internet. If I have those 3 I can be happy although I would like to have some spending money to buy CDs and band T-Shirts once and awhile.
Well that's basically it for now. I'll try to keep you all posted on later events. |

Sorry I haven't updated in a while so here goes everything that has happened to me since.
The other day I noticed that there was money missing from my bank account and it turns out that my paycheck from my employer either bounced or some other problem because they took the funds out of my account. I told my mom and she didn't know what the bank meant when they said something about returning the check to the owner. To make things worse my boss is out of town for another week so I'm functioning on basically no money. I just have enough to go to the movies tonight with Charlie but nothing else for the rest of the week.
Another thing that happened is that the CD player in my car broke (again) and the people at the Toyota dealership where I got the car don't know if they should take apart the player or just install a new one and ship the CD player off to whereever it goes. The problem is that the guy handling my case is taking a 3 day weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) so I won't know until next week what they are going to do. And if they take it apart I don't know how long that will take but if they put a new player in I'll have to wait even longer for them to order it. This is the second time this has happened and the guy taking care of it for me said it's most likely because I have labels on my burned CDs and that is making the jam.

Well I worked a little over 12 hours today, from 7 AM to 7:15 PM. I set up 6 bounces and took down 1 bounce. (In case you are wondering what a "bounce" is it is a Moon Bounce which is filled with air and you jump around in it. There are many different themes and setups for the bounces) Apparently I get paid like $8 for every bounce I set up and/or take down. That is pretty sweet. I calculated my total earnings today and it was $152, but I'm not going to see that money until October 15th which really sucks. I get my first paycheck on Friday, October 1st, and I think I'm going to take my mom out to dinner that weekend. She deserves a meal that she doesn't have to cook and we can chat and other stuff. Monday is my first lab for Biology, I really think that it will suck but who knows I may enjoy it. I have to find a political cartoon and write a page on what I think that it means for my Poly Sci class, it isn't hard work but it still sucks. Oh well. |

Well I worked yesterday but only from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. I was told that I'd be working until 7 PM but that didn't work out. Too bad too because I could really use the money. I'm selling Star Wars CCG (Collectable Card Game) cards on ebay so if you want to bid on them my username is armsarescarred so get to it and buy from me. Man, I don't get paid for another 11 days, that sucks. School starts tomorrow, I'm excited. My schedule is:
Philosophy of Religion: Monday - Friday at 11:00 - 11:50
American Politics: Monday - Friday at 12:00 - 12:50
Biology: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 1:00 - 2:50
On Monday in my biology class we have a lab and that is gonna suck. I hope we don't have to dissect anything and I doubt we will since it is a "Survey Of Biology" class. Basically, Biology for non-science majors.
Next Saturday is going to be a busy day for work. My boss said to expect something like 10 or 11 AM all the way until 11 PM. About 12 hours of work, will boost my paycheck greatly but it will be tiring. Unless it is just supervising the bounces, then it will be easy work.

Well I finally got myself a job. I work for Party Savers, you can see their website at www.partysaver.com Basically I put up and take down moon bounces. I also watch them during parties to make sure kids are doing it right and safely. It's awesome, I make $8 an hour and all I do is stand around. Yesterday I worked an 10 1/2 hour day plus I get more money for the more I put up and take down. I put up 2 and took down 3. I should be getting anywhere from $80-$100 for 1 days work. But what sucks is that my boss doesn't pay until the first of the month and the 15th of the month and since I didn't get mine in soon enough I'm not getting paid until the first of October. But my paycheck will probably double my bank account if I'm working the next couple weekends. Well that's it for now. Bye |

Well I've become obsessed with the music genre metal. My main favorite sub-genre is Doom Metal but I like Death, Thrash, and other sub-genres too. My current favorite band is My Dying Bride. They kick ass! Some other bands I like are Funeral, Anathema, Cathedral, Candlemass, and Skepticism.
I saw "The Cookout" Friday and it was pretty funny. I liked the way that they poked fun at race relations and points out how bad our society has gotten.
